VERMONT

I live in rural Vermont and love this landscape: the Vermont Green and Taconic mountains, covered bridges, mountain streams, and above all, the light—the long shadows on a farm field in early summer, the bright, clear light after a snowfall, the late autumn light that turns the rounded tops of the mountains golden.
